Screenwriting

My first pilot The (Strange, Prophetic and Super Fucking Timely) Revelation of Jennifer Kim is an absurdist look at the tragicomedy of being a Korean-American female failure. The pilot was a finalist for Ron Howard’s emerging writers incubator program Imagine Impact in 2019 and clinched me a spot in the 2018 Blacklist/Women In Film’s Episodic Lab.

I’ve also developed projects for Disney and Ace Entertainment (of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before fame). I’ve pitched for an adult animated Marvel TV series (that was canceled), written for an animated kids’ show for Cartoon Network (that was also canceled) and for the feature film American Pie: Girls’ Rules (available to stream on Netflix! Hey, 1 out of 3 is not too shabby).

Prior to all this, I cut my comedy teeth at a few different places—the Magnet Theatre in New York City, Second City in Hollywood and UCLA.
